Sarty Mountain, Inc. leadership attends training
Wenatchee, WA.- Members of the Sarty Mountain, Inc. leadership team have recently returned from a two-day intensive training session in Renton, Washington.
Valda Sarty, Courtney Starevich and Brooke Richardson attended the May 19-20 Strictly Business: The Owner’s Workshop course, which was presented by renowned industry leaders George Learned and Scott Smith. The course provided business expansion and efficiency techniques combined with no-nonsense management strategies.
“This was a wonderful opportunity to distinguish and refine our organizational priorities and management techniques. I believe the tactics learned during this training session will allow us to continue to build and expand Sarty Mountain, Inc.,” explained attendee Brooke Richardson.
The Strictly Business course is taught by George Learned, Owner and Vice President of Sales for Salon Services & Supplies located in Renton, Washington. George Learned brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge to the Strictly Business workshop. With over 20 years of salon and spa industry experience, and a sincere passion for sharing information, he has built a reputation as an industry leader and innovator. Co-presenter is Scott Smith, President of Skinlogic Skin Center located in Seattle, Washington. Smith brings a 15-year background in sales and marketing to the workshop. Prior to opening Skinlogic, Smith worked in medical sales for an organization that was listed among the top 10 sales forces in the nation.
Valda Sarty is the owner and founder of Sarty Mountain Inc., which encompasses a variety of salon and spa locations including Elements Salon and Wellness Spa, Refuel Spa and Elements University. Sarty was awarded the coveted “Best Retail Philosophy” award by Skin Inc magazine as well as honorable mention designations in the “Top Spa Mentor” and “Employee Friendly Salon” categories in August of 2007. Sarty Mountain Inc. has also been named as a top place to work and Elements Salon and Wellness Spa was named favorite salon by the readers of the Wenatchee Business Journal in 2006 and 2007.
